Last night was the University of Memphis’ annual Outstanding Journalism Alumni Awards. Action News Five’s very own Joe Birch emceed the event. In addition, the program featured guest speaker Otis Sanford, former Commercial Appeal editor, current U of M professor and Hardin Chair of Excellence in Journalism.
