A Memphis mother and group of concerned Memphians sent personalized gifts to Newtown a couple of days before Christmas.
When Jennifer Sadler got the word out about "Memphis to Newtown" people started donating teddy bears, time and retail discounts.
Sunday, Sadler reserved the events room at the Highland Avenue Jason's Deli for people to personalize the gifts - right down to the names of the families.
Since the December 14 shootings, the town has received tens of thousands of gifts ranging from toys to school supplies.
Community organizers are now working through a warehouse full of items to determine the best way to distribute.
The Sandy Hook School Support Fund at Newtown Savings Bank, established in partnership with the United Way, continues to receive donations.
As of Thursday Newtown, Connecticut officials are asking the public to stop sending gifts as they are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support.
However, caring people like Sadler are still appreciated by the Newtown community and the victims' families.
