Shelby Farms Solar Charging Station encourages clean energy options | Transportation

With everyone running around town scrambling to save money during these trying times, many cannot help but either complain or brag about gas prices. From a rumbling Mustang to the strong and silent Hybrid-types: fuel prices are on everyone's minds save the occassional Nissan Leaf owner.

Nowadays with clean energy options on the rise, from Mercedes developing cars that run on swamp water; to BMW's innovative Hydrogen powered car, many strive to seek a golden solution to an ever rising cost of fuel. Many celebrate Shelby Farm's first solar charging station. FedEx says yes to electric and natural gas vehicles in an attempt to cut costs and seperate themselves from the use of fossil fuels.

But buyers on the other hand are still not completely on board with the energy revolution. The EV Project in association with ECOtality are both struggling to gain traction as ECOtality shares decline from a healthy $22 five years ago to a meager 45 cent share currently.
