Memphis Rugby has not been at the University of Memphis for long, but that has not stopped them from beating team after team every year.
Memphis Rugby does not have many big guys on their team, but the one thing they do have is lots of young players who are extremly fast .
This team out runs their opponents up and down the rugby field.
The rugby team at Memphis holds a record of 12-1 this season.
They recently had their first loss of the season against MTSU.
Memphis Rugby co-captain Scott Smith won the "Rookie Excellence" award last year.
"I like (rugby) because it is rough and there is a lot of room for creativity," he said.
Smith said that because the team is so young and doing so well - it puts them at a great standing.
"Memphis Rugby is not really known for our size, but where we lack size, we replace with our speed and conditioning. Also, we could not ask for a more helpful and coaching staff - the love and determination is there, we just need the chance. Our time is coming. Tiger Rugby Never Stops!" said Scott.
