(WMC-TV) – Graduates of Memphis City Schools’ Hearing-Impaired Program are gearing up for their first reunion.
However, this reunion isn’t just for former students who graduated in a particular year. Instead, the reunion is open to any “former MCS deaf and hard of hearing students, along with deaf and hard of hearing and hearing members of White Station High School’s Deaf Drama Club,” according to organizers.
And the turnout for the reunion, which will be held at White Station High School on June 15 and 16, could be quite large. The MCS program made its debut in the 1940’s.
