Bookseller to donate proceeds to Project Green Fork | Restaurants
To celebrate Earth Day weekend (Friday, April 20 - Sunday, April 22), The Booksellers at Laurelwood (formerly Davis-Kidd) and its Bistro will donate portions of its weekend proceeds to Project Green Fork.
"With Mother's Day and Graduation right around the corner, what better time to shop, support your local bookstore and support PGF?" asked Margot McNeeley, executive director of Project Green Fork.
PGF is a Midtown-based non-profit dedicated to certifying and assisting Mid-South restaurants in reducing their environmental impact and in promoting local farms, foods and communities. 41 establishments are certified PGF members. One is featured monthly on Andy's Restaurant Scorecard as the PGF Restaurant of the Month.
