Man charged for shovel attack on coworker | Crime
(WMC-TV) - A man is recovering from a traumatic brain injury after he says a coworker beat him with a shovel Friday, according to investigators.
The victim and Bailey Agnew were laying a concrete driveway in the 3700 block of Carnes when the attack happened, according to court records.
Officers say Agnew accused the victim of telling the homeowner that he hadn't been doing any work. The pair had an argument and, according to investigators, Agnew grabbed a shovel and slammed into the victim's head.
The man was treated for a brain injury that may require surgery, according to court records.
Agnew has been charged with aggravated assault and is currently being held on $30,000 bond.
