CNN profiles obesity in Memphis | Community Spirit

According to the Gallup Well-Being Index, Memphis is home to more obese adults than any other city in America.

A story published on CNN.com looks at the fight some Memphis individuals and organizations are taking against the fat.

"In a city and region where deep-frying is an art form and barbecuing pork is almost a religious experience, we have made some notable steps in promoting healthy living and lifestyles," Mayor A C Wharton, Jr. said.
