Amro Music wins national awards | Business

(WMC-TV) - Amro Music received national recognition from its peers recently.

"We're extremely honored by these awards," said CJ Averwater, general manager of the family business. "Our team members work really hard and have a huge passion for music that they display every day when they help customers. This is a huge win for them."

The store, which has been in business for 90 years, was honored for its support of local music and advocacy by the National Association of Music Merchants.

Amro was also named as one of the country's top 100 dealers and received an award for its displays and merchandising by the group.
