Firefighters say an electrical problem sparked a blaze at a home in the 1100 block of Oak Ridge Drive Wednesday morning.

Although crews were able to get the fire under control in a matter of minutes, it took firefighters about 30 minutes to get the flames completely knocked down.

Investigators say an electrical problem in the home’s attic sparked the blaze and caused more than $30,000 in damage.
