130 corporate quarterbacks attended a kickoff luncheon on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 designed to score big points for the Memphis March for Babies Walk. While it's unlikely any of the team players at this luncheon will ever throw a pass in the NFL or
hand-off a football in the college ranks, they will accomplish far reaching goals that will have a profound impact on the lives of those unable to fend for themselves.

While you may not enjoy paying property taxes, Shelby County Trustee David Lenoir says his office is making it easier to pay up.

There’s not much time left to pay your taxes. They’re due by Feb. 28. However, there are a number of ways you can pay.

In addition to paying online by clicking here, there will be 9 mobile centers accepting payment and there are 16 automated kiosks around the county.

Extra Credit: Briarcrest senior marks third year with Grammy Jazz ensemble

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Each year, 30 high school students are chosen from across the country for positions in the 2011 Grammy Jazz ensembles. This year, one of those students is from right here in Shelby County - and it's his third year to be selected for the prestigious group.

Action News 5 caught up with Briarcrest Senior and jazz singer Taylor Daniel before department for his next gig, which just so happens to be in Los Angles. That's where he, along with dozens of other remarkable high school vocalists and instrumentalists are creating a jazz choir, combo and band.
